What is needed to make a good team?

At some point in your life, you have worked in a team environment. And you probably already know the kinds of personalities you relate to.

But when you are asked this particular question in an interview, employers want to see your true team player qualities and how well you would work amongst their staff.

Do not discuss any personal traits that you don't identify with. Just keep it positive.

Acceptable Answers

  • What makes a good team is a group of open-minded and creative individuals working together to reach the same goals.
  • I think a good team requires members who can communicate their unique values and thoughts to offer one another while respecting each other's opinions.
