Student Experience Sample

As you can see here, this student had only one real job, but listing her volunteer work shows that she's active and likes dedicating her time.

Managers love to see leadership potential, so if you're consistently involved in any community services, clubs or school organizations, you may place those under experience section.

Another Tip: It's okay to list 3-5 job duties. Employers often have lower hiring standards for students with less working background.

But don't use that as an excuse to not have an outstanding resume.

What if you've had a couple jobs along with outside activities?

Then you can list your jobs under "Professional Experience" and also have an "Additional Experience" section.

Move on to learn about other sections.
