Business Attire

by Mark E.

A few years ago, I went to a group interview for a high-end retail store. The position was very prestigious, so you had to dress very classy and appropriately.

There were maybe five other people besides myself who attended the group interview, and everyone had dressed well... until another person came in late, and he was dressed a little more than appropriately. He didn't wear a suit, but he showed up in a tuxedo! And worst of all, it was plaid! I guess he over-estimated the type of classy the store was looking for.

And funny thing was that the manager was distracted by his tuxedo throughout the whole interview... So distracted that she kindly asked him to wait outside as the rest of us were interviewed.
